  21. Regarding recalculation of shadow maps when only the camera is moving:

  24. How long can it take to traverse a scene file and determine whether or 
  25. not anything (other than the camera) has moved?  Not long, I'd guess.  
  26. Allen?  Why recalcualate shadow maps when only the camera has keyframes 
  27. at other than frame zero?

  29. Am I missing something?  (Other than the possible havoc wreaked by
  30. plug-ins that dynamically change the position of objects.  But this too
  31. should be easy to check for...is a plug-in of a particular class called?)
